I was prompted in a sculpture class to recreate an everyday object and change one aspect. I immediately thought of my lotion bottle, sitting on my desk, and knew I wanted to make a massive version. Through spending so much time looking at the bottle, and my interrogative nature of looking at the world, I became inspired to play around with the writing on the product. I’ve been interested in product design for a while, particularly what is highlighted and what isn’t. The lotion bottle inspired me so much that I created two more products, and I plan to make more in the coming months. These products are in a way a self portrait, and reflect how I perceive
