Charcoal, Ink, Procreate animation

The balance of the head and heart, and how people think and act, has long fascinated me. Their connection, and often disconnect, is relevant in every area of life. This piece depicts the struggle and competition between the two. I used charcoal and ink to make a 24” by 18” drawing before importing it into Procreate to make an animation. This was my first time blending physical art with digital animation and I look forward to using these mediums more in the future.
